Insurance and ACC

Insured with Southern Cross Health Care?

Southern Cross Medical Care Society recognise that some of their members wish to seek complementary medicines and therapies and will reimburse up to $400 per claims year for consultations with registered Natural health practitioners. Please contact Southern Cross Health society for further information. My New Zealand Society of Nutritionists registration number is 32018151 and New Zealand Society of Naturopaths (NZSN) registration number is 1233. Other insurance providers may also cover your sessions – it pays to ask

I am a registered ACC vendor

This means that you may be eligible to have ACC pay for my services if your ACC case manager feels that it will assist you in getting back on your feet. For example, losing weight, dealing with migraines or pain or learning stress management skills to support your recovery. My ACC vendor ID is VAT887. Talk to your ACC case manager directly.

* 15-minute reviews are intended solely for personalised “burning questions or issues”, or those quick personalised questions you may have (as set out above). These can be responded to face to face, via phone, Skype or email. In complex cases, a 30-minute review may be required.
